Known by her fans as their “Best Girlfriend”, Kim Iversen is the host of the nationally syndicated radio show “Your Time with Kim Iversen”, a nightly talk oriented program focused on women’s lifestyle topics and relationships. Heard on the FM dial Monday through Friday evenings from 7pm-Midnight, Kim’s show can be found in various cities across the country including Denver, Portland (Oregon), Indianapolis, Memphis, and Austin amongst others.

Through her radio show, Kim has connected with countless women of all ages about topics that truly relate intimately to their lives. Although the show is focused highly on relationship dilemmas, Kim also leads discussions about kids, family, work and topical news. Kim’s show features relationship therapists, authors and experts on beauty, fashion and fitness, all are on the air to offer their insights and advice to Kim’s loyal followers. Presented with an element of fun, Kim’s fans tune in for her intelligent insights on various topics and dilemmas, as they love to laugh along with her own personal exploits as shared on the air. Mostly, it’s Kim’s spirited personality that keeps her fans coming back night after night for more of the lifestyle conversation that directly impacts their lives.

Kim Iversen began her radio career as part of the promotions department at KWOD in Sacramento. It was there that she recognized her potential as a broadcaster and quickly became an on-air slot of her own. As it turns out, Kim was a natural and went on to freelance for Cablevisions News 12 in New York City as well as appearing as a VJ for Comcast’s “Concert TV” before coming back to radio, a medium where Kim felt she would have more intellectual and creative freedom. Kim quickly honed her radio skills by moving to WQQB in Champaign, IL where she was given the freedom to create a completely new and exciting morning show targeted for women. Kim’s popularity within that city skyrocketed, and the attention she gained piqued the interest of several top executives at major radio companies. Entercom Communications made the move to secure Kim and her show, and they moved to set her up as a daily broadcast in multiple cities coast to coast. The uniqueness of Kim’s show as well as her keen ability to connect with women and men from all walks of life has continued to make her show a nationwide success. Recently, “Your Time with Kim Iversen” has partnered with the United Stations Radio Networks (a company co-founded by Dick Clark) for further distribution across the United States.

Although Kim maintains a busy schedule, she makes time to volunteer as a Big Sister in the Big Brothers Big Sisters organization and is also an avid animal lover who has recently rescued several companions from abusive homes. In addition to non-profit work, Kim also makes regular television appearances on HLN’s Prime News and was selected by the producers of “Live with Regis and Kelly” as a Top Ten finalist to fill in for Kelly Ripa. On top of it all, Kim was recently named one of Austin’s “Most Beautiful Women” by Austin Monthly magazine.

Born and raised in Boise, ID, Kim earned her degree in Philosophy from the University of California –Davis. She is of Vietnamese and Scandinavian heritage, is a trained jazz drummer and an avid snowboarder. Kim has a passion for fitness and cooking and currently lives in Austin with her two animal companions, Ella and Lucy, named after Jazz artists Ella Fitzgerald & Lucy Ann Polk.
